  4. Thank you for downloading MacSense's Desktop Tiles, Volume #1!  Within this package, you'll find over 50 desktop patterns designed by MacSense Editor in Chief Chris McVeigh.

  10. Installing a Desktop Tile
  11. ----------------------

  13. To install a MacSense Desktop Tile, you must:
  14. 1. Open your Desktop Pattern control panel.
  15. 2. Select the desired Desktop Tile.
  16. 3. Drag the Desktop Tile file onto the Desktop Patterns window.
  17. 4. Click "Set Desktop Pattern" to install.
  18.  
  19. For best results, we recommend assigning 600k of memory to the Desktop Pattern control panel. To do so, highlight the Desktop Patterns control panel icon and select "Get Info" from the Finder's "File" menu. Once the Info window has appeared, type "600" in the "Preferred Size" box. Close the window and double click on the Desktop Patterns control panel to restart the application.
